How to use clinic reviews without leaning on them too much

What to learn from a review

Read comments for simple office facts: whether staff listened, explained bills, kept people waiting, and answered later questions. One person's account may describe the visit well, yet it can't show whether that person shared your joint problem, health needs, earlier care, or daily goals.

I'd read more than one comment. Make sure each one names the clinic you may call. A glowing review can't prove a treatment will work for you, and an angry review can't diagnose your ache.

Use reviews to judge the office. Use the exam to judge the care. Office manners matter, but they don't explain an aching joint.

What to ask if the ache doesn't ease
